Community Market

By combining a multitude of community functions within one space this project creates a thriving centre for community and interaction. Retail, service, technology and exhibition are combined around a central gallery space and large public amphitheatre seating/stair element that allows for performances, films, speeches and presentations to occur within the market space. The cross pollination of various programmatic elements creates a diversity in interaction and occupation of the space which in turn strengthens the sense of community for the development. The central space can house a variety of programs and events and is the defining elements that enables all the surrounding functions.
