As part of a very large redevelopment of the East Railway station in Chengdu, China, the SoHo Center provided a large amount of flexible commercial and office space to meet the anticipated demand once the new rail centre opened. Conceptually the architecture of this project floats office volumes above courtyards and plazas that serve the lower floor retail units.
